Happy Hour: The Downtown SLO-Down
Late afternoon has a way of becoming the best part of the day in downtown SLO. The laptop closes, the last errand gets checked off and a sun-soaked patio or cushy barstool starts sounding pretty perfect.
Here are three ways to clock into the SLO Life before dinner.

Afternoon Society at Novo Restaurant & Lounge | Monday–Saturday, 2:30–5 p.m.; Sunday, 2–5 p.m.

Granada Hotel & Bistro: Apéro | Sunday, 3–5 p.m.; Monday–Friday, 4–5 p.m.
Slip into Granada’s tucked-away brick courtyard for European-style aperitifs, wine and small bites that turn the pre-dinner hour into an occasion of its own.
Feral Kitchen + Lounge: Happy Hour | Sunday–Thursday, 3–5 p.m.
Trade the afternoon sun for Feral’s moody Higuera Street lounge, where specialty cocktails and snackable bites set you up nicely for whatever the night has in store.
