Our journey began in 1947 when the Cattaneo Brothers started slicing and drying lean strips of beef at the Berkemeyer Meat Market in downtown San Luis Obispo. Over the past 66 years there have been challenging times, but hard work and commitment has kept us going. We continue to stay true to our passion to produce the highest quality gourmet meat snacks anywhere. This year our journey included the launch of our brand new 100% Grassfed Beef Jerky Line, Range.
