SLO It Down and SAVOR the Central Coast!

Believe it or not, Sunset SAVOR the Central Coast is right around the corner, but it’s not too late to get your tickets! This year’s event boasts new and exciting exhibits, food, wine and more that you won’t want to miss. Make it a long weekend getaway and explore all that the Central Coast has to offer.

Thursday, September 24: Kickoff SAVOR at Strings at Sunset Opening Night Party at Vina Robles Amphitheatre. Can’t make it to the party? Enjoy Thursday Night Farmers’ Market in Downtown San Luis Obispo. Peruse selections from local vendors, enjoy the entertainment and relax in scenic in SLO.

Friday, September 25: If you aren’t headed out on one of the great Adventure Tours, hit up the unique boutiques or tasty restaurants in Downtown SLO. Giuseppe’s, Luna Red and Novo are all a yummy lunch options. After lunch, make your way to Edna Valley for a little wine tasting or stay in town and try a local wine bar – Luis Wine Bar, The Station and the Wine Shed all offer a variety of wines to sample.

Saturday, September 26: The Main Event has begun! But before you head to Santa Margarita Ranch, make sure you’re well caffeinated by stopping at Scout Coffee Co., or Sally Loo’s. Once you’re at the event, be sure to stop by the San Luis Obispo booth in the Central Coast Pavilion – we’d love to say hi!

Sunday, September 27: After a long day at the Main Event, unwind with a nice long walk on the beach. Avila, Shell and Pismo beaches are just a short 15 minute drive from San Luis Obispo and offer miles of pristine coastline to sink your toes into. Headed back to the Main Event? Check out the Chef Central Seminars happening all day.
