The 5th annual Illuminate Dance Showcase is hosted by Cal Poly’s United Movement and is open for all dance groups on campus to perform. Illuminate’s purpose remains the same: to unite the numerous dance communities of Cal Poly onto one stage, bringing support and awareness to the various dance styles found on Cal Poly’s campus. Illuminate’s end goal is to find a way to connect the dance community here on Cal Poly’s campus in a way that had never been done before. Illuminate strives to bring together a diverse set of people for a night of artistic and creative expression.
United Movement is a non-audition dance club that serves to foster an inclusive, safe environment where people of all backgrounds are welcome to grow together as dancers and individuals.
