Cal Poly Student Opera Theatre will present an evening of opera scenes including Verdi’s famous “Brindisi” from “La Traviata,” Donizetti’s sassy “gossip chorus” from “The Elixir of Love,” and its first ever stage-brawl from Mozart’s comedy, “Le nozze di Figaro.” Students majoring in music, computer science, business, electrical engineering and more will come together to produce a delightful array of duets, trios and ensemble numbers. The opera chorus will feature the Cal Poly Chamber Choir. The production team includes lecturer Amy Goymerac as director and producer, Scott Glysson as conductor and staff accompanist Paul Woodring as pianist and coach. One performance only!
