Art After Dark

Friday, February 2, 5 – 8 pm

Art After Dark is a self-guided art walk on the First Friday of each month that allows the community to experience visual, literary, and performing art in SLO County in galleries, non-profit organizations, and other businesses. This event is free and open to all. We encourage people to explore the creativity originating on the Central Coast.

The spotlight for February is Texture Salon’s “Black History Month Lounge: Celebrating Arts and History.” The lounge will include drum circles led by Tracy Morgan at 5:30 PM and 7 PM, a digital gallery of works by local Black artists, a history of hip hop between drum circles, and Black history visuals and conversation starters. This event is a collaboration between R.A.C.E. Matters and SLO County Arts Council.
