BE FESTIVE HERE: YOUR GUIDE TO FALL HARVEST IN SAN LUIS OBISPO

In simple terms, the word “harvest” means the practice or the period of time of collecting crops. This may be true in most instances— however, San Luis Obispo brings an entirely new definition to fall harvest and all the celebrations that take place around it.

In San Luis Obispo it’s more than just a time of year but rather a mentality of celebrating all that the rich Central Coast climate provides. Fall harvest is a season long celebration of just this. Not only does fall yield debatably the best weather across the entire year, but it also brings a soiree of harvest happenings throughout San Luis Obispo. That’s why we put together the ultimate fall harvest guide for you to be festive here in SLO.

WHERE TO WINE IN SLO

For most locals, the first thing that comes to mind during this time of year is one of our favorite four-letter words—wine!  Edna Valley just so happens to be a mecca for cool weather varietals like Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and San Luis Obispo makes the perfect backdrop for a day of wine tasting. Come enjoy the panoramic views of the vines as they pop with electrifying fall colors at one of our plentiful wineries.
