Canto De Todes is a durational performance in 3 movements happening throughout the arts complex at the Cuesta College SLO campus that is free of charge and open to the public to experience as an immersive vessel for possibility. The first movement will take place in the Experimental Theatre, room 7325 from 9-10am as a chamber music performance influenced by folk, popular and experimental music with guest artists Dorian Wood, Alexander Noice, Carmina Escobar, Roco Cordova and Bob Liepman. The second movement is a multi-channel sonic installation in the Miossi Art Gallery, room 7170 from 10am-8pm, with guest performances by musicians Tracey Morgan and Timo Beckwith at Noon and dancer Elena Powell at 6pm. The event will culminate back in the Experimental Theatre for the third movement at 8pm. Guests are invited to come at any point during the day, though we encourage people to RSVP on our Eventbrite. This performance will only be here for one day, don’t miss this special opportunity!
