Piedras Blancas Light Station provides a glimpse into our nation’s past when lighthouses served a vital role in maritime navigation. Today it is managed as a historic park and wildlife sanctuary. Access to the light station grounds is a guided tour only. Public tours are offered year-round. Tours last about 2 hours and include a 1/2 mile of easy walking. Bring your binoculars for wildlife viewing.
