With the changing of seasons comes the perfect time to experience all that SLO has to offer, from the kaleidoscopic leaves of Edna Valley vineyards to the special fall celebrations in our scenic Downtown. CELEBRATE DIA DE LOS MUERTOS

Join us in Mission Plaza on Saturday, November 2 for this fantastic celebration dating back over 2,000 years. SLO’s family-friendly Dia de Los Muertos celebration is truly a treat, with mariachi music, traditional art and cuisine, costume contests, craft activities and more. Celebrate los antipasados, or those who came before us, and be festive here!

STRIKE A POSE AT THE PUMPKIN PATCH

The Avila Valley Barn is a local favorite for fall activities in SLO, with tractor-drawn hay-bale rides, friendly farm animals, and a U-Pick style pumpkin patch. While you’re there, be sure to enjoy their signature corn on the cob, check out their vast selection of homemade jams and baked goods and browse their gift shop filled with find findings and local keepsakes. Conveniently located just a few miles south of San Luis Obispo down the Hwy 101, this is a must-do fall activity for all types of visitors.
