Cal Poly Arts Presents: Chris Thile

Grammy-winning mandolinist, singer, and MacArthur “Genius Grant” recipient Chris Thile is a founding member of Punch Brothers and Nickel Creek. He’s collaborated with icons from Yo-Yo Ma to Fiona Apple to Brad Mehldau. Thile’s latest ventures include the acclaimed Nickel Creek album Celebrants, his bold orchestral song cycle ATTENTION! (a narrative song cycle for extroverted mandolinist and orchestra), and the new Audible variety show “The Energy Curfew Music Hour.”
