Visitors can explore this treasured San Luis Obispo museum, open 10am – 3pm Wednesday to Saturday, with year-round displays, interactive kiosks, exhibitions, and educational programs celebrating the legacy of Central Coast Veterans and others who have served our nation from WWI to Post 9/11.
The Veterans Museum is the designated site on the Central Coast of California for recording veteran oral histories through a partnership with the US Library Congress, since 2002, a free service to all veterans by scheduled appointments, funded through donations and community support.
The Veterans Museum hosts annual events for veterans and the public including Veterans Day and Memorial Day ceremonies in San Luis Obispo. Schedules and additional event information can be found at www.vetmuseum.org.
