San Luis Obispo TBID Launches New Mobile Site

(San Luis Obispo, CA.) – To ensure that visitors are able to get the most out of their stay in San Luis Obispo, Rosetta, the San Luis Obispo Tourism Business Improvement District’s marketing agency, recently launched GOSLO, an on-the-go mobile companion to the site.

“This new mobile version of the site is part of our ever-evolving effort to provide visitors with an exceptional experience from the moment they begin planning their trip” said Nipool Patel, co-owner of Comfort Inn & Suites Lamplighter and president of the SLO TBID board. Much like a ‘matchmaking’ scenario, GOSLO allows users to choose activities from a series of illustrated cards. Based on their preferences, GOSLO generates their ‘SLO style badge’ with a customized vacation itinerary.

GOSLO vacation styles include the SLOcavore for wine and food enthusiasts, SLOmancer for those wishing for a romantic getaway and the Kerouwhack for travelers looking for quirky, off-the beaten path recommendations.

The second phase of this mobile enabled site will include “emailing itineraries, saving your travel experience for future use, migrating the experience into a true mobile application and integrating the experience with a hotel booking tool,” said Ryan Allshouse, account supervisor with Rosetta.
