North County
San Luis Obispo County's northern region — locals call it "North County" — stretches from the outskirts of San Luis Obispo to Paso Robles. Home to more than 170 bonded wineries and 25,000 acres of vineyards, the region is recognized as the heart of California's premium wine culture and is the fastest growing wine region in the state.
