Restaurants

North County

San Luis Obispo County's northern region — locals call it "North County" — stretches from the outskirts of San Luis Obispo to Paso Robles. Home to more than 170 bonded wineries and 25,000 acres of vineyards, the region is recognized as the heart of California's premium wine culture and is the fastest growing wine region in the state. It is one of the rare places in the country where Rhône varietals reach perfection in the hands of local winemakers.

It's only natural, then, that local restaurants create unique environments for food and wine pairing. If you are having a hard time deciding which cuisine will go best with your cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir or chardonnay, don't hestitate to ask one of the locals.
